BANNE

We visited this little village called Banne, and it's one of the nicest villages I have ever stumbled upon.  Manu and I couldn't stop taking pictures.  It was an old Castle in ruins dating back to the 12th Century, it had a history of all sorts of people who lived there one of whom was the niece of the Pope.  It was fascinating and the village seemed to roll down the mountain side from the top with lots of stairs, tiny gardens, hidden arches.  It was just beautiful or as my Aunty Margaret would say...Aaahhhh Just Lovely.
