Such a subject for the Green Peace Activists, because foie gras is the liver from the goose which is force fed, to produce this massive liver which is an absolute delicacy all over France and which the French adore. Usually eaten at Christmas and for special occasions, Anne-Sophie and her husband, Tilak (Manu's sister) brought a fresh one over on their visit. So we cooked it up. Manu and Tilak just about set alight to the kitchen heating up the pan too much, and I usually don't eat it as it's so rich but I ventured in and it was absolutely delicious. Sorry to the Goose.
