The kids were so excited but by 1:30 after having lunch and taking them back to school, Samuel said to me that this is the coldest day, when I got home I checked the temperature and sure enough it had dropped to -1C so I lit a fire.
It's dark already at 5:30 pm and the fire is roaring and it's just started snowing again, you can see it against the lamps. I love the snow - for now - it's so dreamy but I can imagine six months down the line and I'll be looking like the locals, all grim and down trodden. Now I have to learn to drive in it aaaggghhhhh.
