AHHHH SCHOOL TOMORROW
Holidays are over and it's school tomorrow. Good timing as our shipment arrives so we will be surrounded by boxes and I can't wait. Not sure where we are going to put it all considering we are living in a fully furnished appartment but it will be nice to have my towels, sheets, books etc. The weather was dull and grey today with thick mist covering the mountains and not lifting at all. It was about 9 C but felt colder so we went tromping through the forests to collect pinecones we can dry and burn. A whole different way of thinking here. I miss having a mall to visit on boring days but a walk in the woods is very uplifting. All the little ski shops are busy doing up their windows with the big season only 6 weeks away. I can't wait to see the village in lights and covered in snow with hordes of skiiers everywhere drinking Vin Chaud. My parents arrive in 7 weeks so lots of planning for visits and meals etc. CAN'T WAIT.
