SAMOENS

So to continue, Sammy has left with Grandmere and Grandpere for 10 days to do some fishing in there home town of Pace in Brittany and since we have more space in the car we headed off to Samoens, an hour and a bit from here still in Haute Savoie but a very different village to ours complete with lake and a beautiful Botanical garden.

A beautiful cascade, it was really cold at the bottom in the shade, a relief considering it was 32C.

And the day was finished off by a lovely dinner of Fera caught in Lac Leman, otherwise known as Lake Geneva.  It was delicious.
