SALLANCHES ILLUMINATIONS

We travelled into Sallanches last night to see the lighting of the Christmas tree and the opening of Advent calender.  They have 25 windows on the Mayors House, which is the central place in Sallanches where the Mayor holds office.  Every night at 6pm they open a window of the calender by lighting up the lantern.  It's very nicely done.

 So the window that are lit are the days passed in December already.

 The whole town has the theme of polar ice, so everything is polar bears and penguins all in the windows and they all move.  Kids love them.
