STAYING AT KAREN'S

After a few days with Aunty Margaret it was off for a week to Karen's in Esher, Karen is my half sister and has a big house with a lovely indoor pool much to the delight of Samuel and Benjamin.  She treated us to a day out in London.  We went on the Eye, visited the Science museum and of course Buckingham palace.  The kids were treated to a taxi, a train, the tube and a bus so we crossed off all the transport on our list in one day.

and back on the ground.

It was the one day there was no changing of the guard unfortunately but we got to see a few sodiers at Buckingham palace, no sign of the Queen

Then it was off to the Science museum.  It was a great museum but I think the kids needed to be a bit older at least to do all the reading.  Fun never the less.
These fish were on the floor and when you touched them they wiggled away, when you stepped on the water you created ripples and if you moved your hand up and caught a fish it would wriggle and jump out of your hand, only thing is this is all created by an overhead camera there is no water, and no pond.  It was fantastic.
